Yeah, my fury is level 17 now. I'm finally into crushbone. My motto is: "Killing orcs is its own reward."

Yes. A bunch of us play regularly. My warden is level 22, but I can help you out by mentoring down if you're on. (Once I figure out how to do it. )

There is only one server. Freeport I think it is called.
Vejuz, Tehden, and I are all on the good side in Kelethin. I think it is pretty easy to get around though. I don't know if good and evil players can group though. Or if evil characters get killed if they stray too close to a good guard.

There are no restrictions between communication and grouping for good versus evil. But as Winin said, the guards will kill you. (As I learned when I randomly explored an evil zone. XD)
The suggested start areas are New Halas (Good) or Timorous Deeps (Evil) although the alternative areas aren't bad either. Greater feydark is very pretty but HUGE an be hard to get around without, say, a Spirit of the Wolf.
EDIT: And yes....we definitely need to start a new thread! The irony is killing me!

How about we just rename it "<3 You SOE and EQ2x"?
The /claim cloak gives you good run speed, and the horses are free in GFey. I made chars in New Halas and Tim Deep. Halas is icy and boring. Tim deep is pretty good. The sarnak voices are cool too.

I haven't even really been playing. Think I am going to end up uninstalling. I had some high hopes for this, but I think the biggest disappointment was isolating the F2P from the subs. If I decided to re-sub, why would I play on the F2P server where my higher level chars aren't located?
I ended up getting hooked on LOTRO... really liking the improved graphics (I previously tried it when I had XP, and you can't use the new Directx 10/11 graphics with that OS), and the Skirmishes added with the Mirkwood expansion are fun.

Are you playing the FTP Lotro? Yes. I am not currently a subscriber, although I have bought some Turbine points for it.

It's my understanding that you can (for no extra cost besides an active subscription) copy your standard subscription characters to Freeport. I'm not sure how you do this, I've seen it mentioned on the official forums quite frequently.

There was a $30 or $35 charge for that. Did they remove it?
