Oh dear. Five exclamation points, that's never a good sign.
Yes, I've been out of it for a while, no good reason, just scrambling around looking for work and doing interviews. Apparently one shouldn't badmouth former employers, even or especially if those employers have gone bankrupt and were investigated by the national authorities after you left them. Good to know, rather than simply suspect.
Also, I was playing FFXIV for a while, and still am occasionally. It's just so abysmally slow to level and get into, and the recent news doesn't help much. I think I'll just wait on it for a while, at least until it gets a full release. Like at a shady massage parlor.
Like I said, I have the vanilla and the burning discs for WOW at my folks' attic, and can get them next week. I could pick up the other two x-pacs, and be in the game next year. Is anyone still going to be playing then?
Of course you realize: THIS, means WAR!

All you have to do is re-up your acct and you can download the clients right from your account management screen. There is also a 10 day trial of Cataclysm atm as well, give you 10 days to decided if getting back into WoW is worth it for you before you drop your cash on the expansions as well

Well, I think someone had mentioned that to me before. The thing is, I gave that account information to another player when I left, and they changed the name of the character from Ctharley to Xenses. I checked a while back and the character had been deleted. So my new battle.net account doesn;t have that wow account connectd to it. Although it may or may not still be there, the password has probably been changed , I would hope so anyway.
Anyway, the main thing I was asking was, will any of you be playing wow for more than a few weeks into the next year? Obviously other things are arriving, DConline, Tera, Rift, Guild Wars 2, and possibly the SWTOR Beta near the end of the year(no real data on that, but just an educated guess). I like the WoW gameplay and lore, but having a guild disappear from under me and being thrown to the tots' excuse for a community is what drove me from the game before.
People are always asking me, how do I know Tyler Durden?

I will be playing WoW for a good while. If you join up with CoT folks on Silver Hand and for some reason they drift off to other games, you are more than welcome to join me and others in the Perpetually Disgruntled guild. We try to do everything in the game but are also casual.
