Didn't the regular people call Obi wan a crazy old wizard? Not sure. I don't remember that, but it wouldn't surprise me. I don't know why people are flipping out about Jedi Wizard. Disregarding the fact that it's easily changeable from now to launch, it's not inaccurate. I mean, they spend all their time training in the arcane side of the Force.

After reading all these posts I am not sure if I am more excited about the game or about playing a game that almost the whole multiplaying community will be playing!

I like sex with Star Wars sound track. They should rename them, Jedi Jackhammers for the tanks and Jedi Jizzards for casters

I really hope they're going to rename the classes. I'm pretty sure they would be fine with Jedi Masters and Sith Lords, rather than all the confusion of Wizards and Sorcerors. I'm still trying to wrap my head around how they can justify having specializations for force sensitives who focus on mastery of force powers later becoming melee damage experts. That's like having someone be a remote drone pilot suddenly become a supreme martial artist just because someone says so.

They don't? The second specialization for Inquisitors/Consulars are the assassin classes, which need a good amount of force power to remain unseen and to get away quickly.
Melee damage experts are Marauders(which I plan on going)/what ever pansy equivalent that the Jedi have. Personally I can't wait to slice n dice me some Republic.....ans......

According to lore, as Tak said, becoming invisible was reserved for those insanely powerful with the Force. It required intense concentration, as well as the mental capacity to be aware of literally all that was around you at all times at the same time as being hidden. Also, the "burst melee DMG" the list refers to might entail more sorcery than swinging. I don't have a precedence on the tips of my fingers at the moment, but more than once instance of Sith Sorcery required extremely close proximity to the target. Perhaps the "melee" category was for lack of a better word, indicating that it simply was in that range.
Also, I highly doubt the names will stay the same and furthermore will not likely be actually displayed as your actual class. Much how in almost any MMO your shown class would be, "Warrior or Priest" and yet your specializations are hidden from other people.
If they decide to show the specialization names, I think a couple could use some tweaks (Powertech for Bounty Hunter as an example), but most work for me as is.
