I've posted this before but I want to do it again, only because it's so funny.

Fan Friday for SWTOR has passed again and more cool info is out! All tentative specialization paths for the classes in SWTOR have been revealed. They are subject to change, but at least we now have a better idea of the available options for those classes. Which class and specialization will you pick? I don't know anymore! GunslingerDual Pistols Quickdraw / Fast Attacks Ranged DPS Jedi GuardianSingle Saber / Heavy Armor Leadership / Party Buffs Tank Source: swtor.com/news/news-article/20100820-0Gunslinger is totally my shiz, I will rock that class hard. Maybe I'm a facerolling button masher, but I like the things to go pewpewpew! Tank Jedi worries me a little bit though, how is a lightsaber class supposed to do low amounts of DPS? That just confuses me. It'd probably be my second pick.

Could fight more like Plo Koon, slower but highly defensive style. after some research to see what he used, the tank Jedi will most likely use Form V starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Form_V

Also, I'm sure that it's somewhat relative to the damage he could be doing. Further, apparently there's many Jedi and Sith alike who have gone completely defensive with lightsabers, basically with their intention to just wear you out until you make one wrong move and OOPS! there went your arm

Well, Darth Zannah (from the Darth Bane trilogy Tak references) used Form III: Soresu. Which was a form of perfect defense. The technique literally used the attacker's own momentum against them and allowed Zannah to fall into a rhythm of parries and counterattacks designed to tire out and outlast your opponent. Form III: Soresu is the absolute most defensive of the seven lightsaber forms. Linky: starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Form_III:_Soresu

Jedi Wizard and Scoundrel look good for support. The force seems a good excuse for crowd control.

I like the idea of a tank using that form, as it is dependent on brute strength. One of my favorite mentoring moments that demonstrates the variety between forms is from the Darth Bane trilogy. It is posted on the Wookiepedia site as well, but here it is. Essentially Zannah wants to learn the heavy hitting or aggressive forms, but Bane knows better, as she is small and frail. On the other hand, Bane is seven feet tall, and a metric ton of muscles. Perfectly suited for Form V: Djem So.
"Defense will not slay my enemy." "You lack the physical strength required for the powerful attacking strikes of Djem So or the other aggressive forms. You must rely on quickness, cunning and, most of all, patience to best your enemies." ―Darth Zannah learns from Darth Bane the effectiveness of Soresu

Pretty sure your nerd is reaching critical mass dude You would be far exceeding my nerd-factor if you read any books! Usually you're the one who gets all the little nuances. Catch up po-sloke! ;D Oh, did anyone see this before? The Star Wars Complete EncyclopediaIt's supposed to be the absolute end all collection of information on everything Star Wars. It apparently contains all movie, novel, children book, comic book, tv show, etc. Granted, it is soon to be redone as it has been a while since its last revision. Just curious if anyone knew about it.

Yea, I guess that was the previous version. This is supposed to be the big one. Again, I really think that it will be revised soon, but I am so tempted to buy it.

The Smuggler has a but of healing but the Imperal Agent doesn't. Is that over sight or I'd it going to be 2-1 healing?

Idk. If I was Smuggler, I wouldn't be caught dead healing. It's just not the way I vision Smugglers
