TOR's already gotten dull (except for ops), but that might be because I've done Rep enough. Thought I'd try Imp, but aside from Zand, I don't know who else in DoG is Imp. IMC is our "sister" guild, right? Anyone over there?
EDIT: I've rolled a BH named P'andalishus, and I'm guilded with IMC. Gonna take my time over the next few months getting to cap, but if the first 10 levels are any indication, I'll be slowly "moving" my main to Imp. Imp is awesome in a way Rep never quite captured (so far).

You rolled BH, right? I'm thinking of rolling a tank and trying to decide. Assassin sounds fun (I like the idea of tanking in light armor).

OK. I think I'll roll an assassin Juggernaut (heard Inquis story was dull like Consular) tonight. It'll be slow levelling, but aside from raiding with DoG, I don't have much reason to login these days. Maybe levelling a Sith will keep me in-game for a few more months.
The name will be some variation on Panda I reckon.

I'm very much enjoying the Inquisitor story. Who told you it was dull?

I read it was comparable to the Consular story, and Consular was dull (Act 1 & 3. 2 was nice). I've read quite a few comments that Knight/Warrior stories are quite good, and BH appears to come across as the single-best story in the game (plus you get the Jawa). Since I did Consular, and the semi-spoilers I saw for Warrior sounded awesome, I went for that. Gonna be a LS Warrior. PS toon rolled. Feel free to /friend or /ginvite P'andalishus

Oh, I have a BH on another server, I'm spending a ton of time playing Brynjar... LOVE him. I'll friend you and get someone to invite you if you're not already.

It should be especially noted that if you play a Dark Side Consular (or Inquisitor for that matter), you end up basically getting an Inquisitor. Killing, maiming, torturing, etc. Slaughtering your master, along with countless other powerful enemies.
When you play Light Side on either class, you spare just about everyone, and the story becomes extremely predictable.
TL;DR - Light Side options are dull, not the entire story

Yeah, I've got a BH mercenary. Power techs are nice and mechanically I prefer them to my vanguard, even if I like the vanguards aesthetics better.

TL;DR - Light Side options are dull, not the entire story I'll agree with you to a point. I think you've definitely got something there, but let's assume that the Consular story is designed to be played as an LS character (reasonable assumption, given that it's a Republic story). If so, then the Consular story is built on a dull foundation, but you can spice it up. Played as intended, however, it's quite predictable. Act I has a pretty nice ending, I'll give them that, but leading up to it, it's rinse/repeat. Act 2 was kinda fun, but Act 3 went back to dull(ish). Now, take Imp BH as an example. I could play that strictly LS, but I still would have given a Hutt the heads of two enemies (detached from their bodies) by level 10, which is hardly dull Even if I played the nicest BH ever, I still have the blood drops from two decapitated heads in my backpack. It's just a basic difference in the flavor. Whether that applies to Inquisitor, I can't be sure (I've read mixed reviews on the story), but there's a fundamental difference in the general direction of the story arcs. Bad guys are bad, even when played good. TL;DR, looks like the interesting stories tend to be more squarely in the camp of the DS than the LS. Makes sense in my mind, as DS is not strictly bad, just passionate. The dispassionate LS is gonna blunt the story in some sense. (And this is, of course, just my opinion)

I seriously considered JW, but the consensus seemed to be that they were the weakest tank atm (and I wanted a tank). That said, the first time I did a BH rocket punch and said (out loud) "Shoryuken!" I knew I'd picked right.
