Upcoming January Events
1/09 8:30PM EST, Tuesday - Deadmine's Fun Run
Members of CoT, AtM & FotH are welcome to attend.
Meet at the Meeting Stone outside of the entrance to Deadmines.
If we only get enough for one group, it's just a simple Deadmines run. If you're feeling your sauce, you can go nekkid.
If we get enough for 2 groups, I would like to try and make it a race.
We'll create as even teams as possible, as many groups as we can and we'll run Deadmines as fast as we can. Anyone level 60 has to be naked. No equipment of quality higher then white is allowed, however any and all abilities are allowed, except for pets. The first team to finish the instance wins. Items dropped by all the bosses may be used to determine if the instance was finished. Since Deadmines has an exit in the end of it we can have start point and finish line at the same point, say at the meeting stone.
I think I have 5 stacks of underwater breathing potions for the winning team if we do the race. So if we get 2 groups going, the winning team will each get a stack of those. I know it's not much but it's all for fun, right?
1/25 8:30PM EST, Thursday - Treasure Hunt
Members of CoT, AtM & FotH are welcome to attend.
Meet at the Lion's Pride Inn in Goldshire
This is basically a wild treasure hunt. Beforehand I will make an alt that guildies do not know about and bring her over to some location, kill her and log her out. That will place the corpse of the said character in the world. After I have planted the corpse I will give some clues to give to participants to her location. I will present all the clues at once. The first one to find the corpse wins (they should message me the location of the corpse, they can have a macro for that). Why plant corpse, not the live character you could ask? That is to prevent people from narrowing down the location of the character using /who command.
There are no rules.
Members of CoT, FotH and AtM can all participate.
Prize: bragging rights (sorry, i have no useful loots that y'all can't get on your own anyway)
And before Kaar even asks, YES you can do the hunt nekkid if you want to. I've learned that it's a waste of energy trying to keep clothes on that guy.
This can be a long event (estimated 1-2 hours on the guide).
Personal Gratz
1/1 Happy Birthday Aduras
1/1 Happy Birthday Wrasse
1/1 Happy Birthday Veleuk
January's Guild Position Highlight: Members
Members of the guild have gone through the Initiate phase with a sponsor and have been voted into the guild. Members can sponsor new initiates into the guild. Members can also plan and lead guild events if they would like to do so.
LET'S HEAR IT.
CoTers are not known for being wallflowers. If you would like to make your opinion heard, in the form of a column in our newsletter, please e-mail circleoftrust.guild@gmail.com.
