Initiation Changes
By Zeli
After some discussion, it has been decided to slightly alter our Initiation process. From now on, any guild member can sponsor an Initiate, but only Trust Member and up can vote on membership. This allows Trust Members, Reliance Members, Core Members, Trustees and Councilors to determine guild membership. Previously, only Trustees, Core Members and Core Councilors had the right to vote on initiates. This will allow some of our more devoted members a say-so in the guild, without adding the responsibility of an officer position.
If a Guild Member or Loyalty Member sponsors an initiate, someone with voting abilities will have to set up the voting poll.

Guild News – A WAR Alliance
By Zeli
We've joined the guild coordination effort on Only-WAR. This means that we will plan on joining the same server as the community at Only-WAR. We have encouraged a number of our old DAoC alliance to do this as well.

The Departed
Really good.
November’s Guild Position Highlight
Trust Member: A Loyalty Member first, who also attends guild meetings regularly and/or gives input on guild matters on the forums. A Trust Member can vote on Initiates. A Loyalty Member should not ask to become a Trust Member. It is a position that must be nominated by a CoTer with the rank of Reliance Member or higher.
2 New Core Councilors
Aberrant and Zeli were voted in as 2 of the Core Councilors of CoT.
Thanks and stuff!
Regarding WAR and a possible Guild Beta Invite
Back in the April 2006 Grab Bag, Sanya stated this:
"...guild beta. I'll be putting that together and taking applications late this summer. Guilds will be judged based on how active your members are in your current game or forum (NOT number of members), the length of time you've been together, your website, and more. We'll want a mix of guild types, of course, so my best advice for potential guilds is to be who you are with as much style as possible."
It is now November with no sign of any Guild Beta contests or sign-ups. I've verified with Morg'th from Only-WAR that we haven't missed it. According to the rough draft of the Beta Schedule that was put out by Sanya, winners of the guild contest will be allowed into the beta "Early Spring 2007" (tentative date). In light of this we are announcing the "Help Get CoT into WAR Beta" Contest!
Once the guild contest is announced, those who participate for CoT will be eligible to win.
Participants names will be put into a hat (literally) and one name will be drawn and that one lucky person will win a FREE copy of WAR courtesy of Ab, me and Wrasse! And you'll pretty much just have to trust me on that, but we are the Circle of Trust, so that should be groovy.
Rules and Stipulations
* You have to participate in the guild contest for CoT.
* You have to be a member of Circle of Trust or Aim to Misbehave.
* You have to be a registered member of the CoT message board.
* If you win, you will have to agree to disclose your address to me so that I can send you your copy of WAR.
I reserve the right to add more rules if I think of loopholes.
Keep your eyes peeled for guild contest information! If you see it out there, please post it in the "guild" area of the forums.
Currently the only way to sign up for beta is individually by signing up for the WAR Newsletter - each month they draw 5 names from their newsletter subscribers and they win a beta slot. Sign up today: maestro2.mythicentertainment.com/list/subscribe.html?mContainer=3&mOwner=G382t3738&mListSeqNo=5
LET'S HEAR IT.
