Might be fun to start from scratch.

Might be fun to start from scratch. If by "starting from scratch" you mean making an insta-20 for PvP, I am definitely in. If we get 4 people I was hoping we could run some 4v4 premades in the Codex Arena, us being on Ventrilo alone should make us good for a few wins even if some of you've never PvPed in GW before. Once you see how the Codex Arena works I think you'll be hooked... best thing is, it is TOTALLY unlinked from the campaign mechanism for the game. So Coolit, even though you don't have all the campaigns you still get to use some of the spells from the ones you haven't bought, and there is also no need at all for you to "grind it out a bit" as you mentioned a few posts back. However if we get an odd number of people tomorrow night and can't run 4v4s I am perfectly fine with roaming around the map with everyone killing random mobs or standing in town getting drunk

I'd be down for some PvP tonight. How about we all get together in Vent at 9pm EST and we'll work out the details from there. Sound good?

Ok now I'm hooked. I'm going to try to level my level 10 N/W up to 20 so I can PVP with him next time.

Yes we had a nice turnout... me, Coolit, Grok, and Saia. Even though half the evening was me droning on about how to make a PvP character in Guild Wars, I think we had fun Also, Rer and Odalus stopped by in Ventrilo to say hello and chat about STO and AOC. Thanks for showing up, everyone!

Same here. I simply forget sometimes.
And my mic is borked too, I hope to get it working or replaced by Friday for the show.

Vent still fails for me, but I haven't tried it with STO yet.

omg people back on the GW goodness. I am title grinding on my main Kira Venum most nights. I will keep an eye out for the next time you all do something organised. I can help with anything, power leveling, running, titles, missions. I have all xpacks and have beaten everything.

I'm trying to get into this game but I think my now level 11 N/w is not the right class. Very often I stop playing a MMO just because I can't settle on a class. I know everyone asks the question what is a fun class to play. With the the common answers "how do I know whats fun for you". So to anyone who has played this game a lot, can you please tell me what might be fun for me?

So to anyone who has played this game a lot, can you please tell me what might be fun for me? Unfortunately, the cliche answer is the right one here. Ask that question in a large enough forum and you're likely to get as many answers as there are class combos. What I suggest is that you roll up those insta-20 PvP characters and try each one out on a target dummy for a while. Perhaps that will give you a better feel for a class before you actually roll a permanent one.

Perhaps that will give you a better feel for a class before you actually roll a permanent one. I second this opinion... even if you are a new player and have not spent a lot of time buying spells, the insta-20s come fitted with a nice starter pack of 5 that is very representative of the class. The first thing I would do if I were you is roll an Assassin and stab some of the dummies Grok mentioned, they are right outside the Great Temple (where all insta-20s are born) over on the Isle of the Nameless. The assassin's starter pack is especially good... Assassins in GW1 are a very unconventional rogue-type MMO class, their "surprise" type mechanic is not stealth, instead it is teleportation. Could be a great change of pace for you - good luck!
