Love it! I don't know why more games don't do this. Even EQ (or was it EQ2?) did a mentor system. At least a higher level friend could come down and help you fill the group.

No joke. EQ2 had mentoring down, CoH had sidekicking up (they were first maybe) and I think DAoC silently buffed up the lowbies a little when grouped up.
I'm doing cleric in large part because I am always lowbie, and healing is the best archtype for grouping up.

Side kick is so derogatory. They prefer the term 'supporting hero', please.
(BTW the eq2 mentoring system was great.)
