I thought this would have the potential for more bad PR. Now, I'm not saying I think everyone should get the tokens. Truly, I'm rather neutral on the subject. I just thought that the decision would have negative backlash regarding the token issue, especially when the original post did not indicate it would be only for the people actually affected by the billing issue.
In defense of Mythic, how can they discern who was "negatively affected" by the billing issue and who was not? For instance, I was charged 12 times I think, but on a credit card. It hit my billing cycle such that by the time they did my refund, it was all on the same cycle. It could just have easily been on two separate cycles, making the initial overcharge subject to interest charges. How else can they do it than just give the tokens to everyone who had the extra charges?
What really, really sucks would be the folks who had these charges on their debit cards and aren't even playing anymore!

Gotta love James for taking the initiative to shut Kallell up.

Nah, he locked all 4-5 of them then merged them together. You can see because the timeline of the posts doesn't add up.

If they sent that guy a wad of $100 bills, he would bitch that they were all crinkled.

The most shocking thing of all in that thread is the dude who's children had to eat hotdogs and cereal for 4 days.
You gotta wonder if a guy who's account can be drained by a $200 overdraft should be spending $15 a month on a game.

Yeah, I was hoping that was a bit of an exaggeration.
I sympathized with the people who said they had to explain it all to their wives. I walked into the kitchen and my husband gave me that "look" over his reading glasses, calculator in hand with the credit card bill and wanting to know what the hell all these EA entertainment charges were about.
