WoW : I'm thinking of a pet...

Yeah, I want to try out a hyena. That seems to fit A) my personality and B) my need to have a pet with dash or dive since I can't be bothered to wait around for it to wander over to my target. Grumpin wants to start shooting NOW!

The one in Scarlet Monestary has faster than normal attack speed and a unique skin. I may need some help to tame him though...

The problem is that I'll be out on the road for the next two weeks. I have WoW on my laptop, but it can be iffy. Anyone want to help?

It would be real easy, once you're there - there's a patrol that comes down that very first hallway in the Library section. You'd have to kill maybe 5 or 6 mobs before your doggy comes walking along. It might take some finessing (and patience) but it can be done just a few feet into the instance.

You could also just save yourself the trouble of levelling one up that's quite a bit below you, travel to Desolace and snag one there. There are Bonepaw hyenas there, ranging from 30 to 38 (starving, at the bottom end of the scale, to rabid, at the top.)

Orrrrr, you could wait til level 51 and hope for Ravage, from Blasted Lands. He's got a 1.3 attack speed.

If you re-think the boar, there's also sexy boy, Grunter, also in the Blasted Lands.

I still have my level 10 boar that I leveled up to 33 (I think). I tried a desolace dog, and yeah, that sound got a little annoying. I think I just need to tame one of each and try it out for a day or two. So far I like the wind serp, boar, and scorp, though they all have pros and cons. Crab is next on my list to test. I had one for a while, but not recently. Maybe wolf too. never had one of them, but they seem so vanilla. I should do a red crab named citizen snips after the futurama episode I just saw.
