I have my paly at 40 and my hunter at 34. The hunter is way better for soloing, but which one is better for getting groups? I'd like to do some intstances and/or grouping, but I hardly ever see anyone when I'm out and about.
When I get high enough for the more populated places, which char will get groups easier? Or am I doing something wrong and I could be getting groups now?
Thanks!

Well personally a Hunter will get into groups more unless they are desperate for a tank. But the down fall with Hunters is there are ALOT of them especially on SH. The biggest complaint with the guilds i raid with atm is the fact that there are so many hunters. What I would recommend is play what you want... what you enjoy most. You can get into groups its just a matter of finding one.

We were in LBRS (a 10 man instance) the other night and a mage joined our 8 man group. Mage has joined raid group. Mage "You have TWO hunters??" Mage has left raid group. I like to think that's the exception, rather than the rule though. I don't get spammed with invites but I've never been denied one, based on my class alone. But I do know a mid-level paladin who has been slammed with tells with group invites before the game has even fully loaded. Danti has the best advice....play what YOU want to play.

The problem is that I like to play them both, also my mage, but for different reasons. So I wind up playing them all and being low level perpetually. These days, I tend to favor hanging in the back and plinking or healing. I think paladins can get groups as healers? But, speccing for healing makes it hard to solo level. Soloing as a paladin is bo-ring. Maybe I should heal spec and then hang out looking for groups in instances. The hunter seems good solo or grouped, so a better everyday character when I don't want/can't get a group. Oh yeah, I know a priest or druid would be better for healing, but I'm not sure I want to level one up. I've done the 1-20 zones so many times.

Make your Paladin an Engineer and between heals and buffs, you can blow stuff up real good!

Not so useful for a paladin though. Grumpin will get them, however.
