Should it make that big of a difference?

It supposedly will have something to do with the fortresses....don't know what though. Only thing I fear outside of that is people will see what time zone each server is, and join according to their personal one. Since most of us are east coasters, we may be getting on a few hours before a larger chunk of the population gets on. Could be nothing, the game could be popular enough that there's always plenty of people on. I can't do shit from work though, I'll dig into it more tonight and see what this might mean. Unless someone else already knows?

Should it make that big of a difference? I didn't think it would either when I was playing WoW, but it actually did have an effect on my (and my guilds) quality of gaming, and we eventually moved back to an EST server. I think he time discrepancy may actually be more pronounced in a game that places more emphasis on PvP and the presence of other players. I want to be involved in some of the big server wide pushes and if those happen 3 hours after my prime-time gaming begins, I'll have to miss out on a lot of that. Ultimately I'll be staying on whatever server you guys decide on as it's more important to me to be surrounded by individuals I have fun playing with, but if I have any input, I would prefer that we play on an EST server.

The server being PST shouldn't be a big deal, as long as the guild is together it'll work it self out

Zikel is the unofficial Oceanic server. >.> what does that mean? It means all of the Aussies will be playing there, and a lot of people who *were* going there now aren't.

So that means the two chicks from the Aion's World podcast will probably go there. (the one is from Australia and I think they live on the west coast).

Does this impact where the servers are physically located as well?
