Aion: can't jump-fly in Abyss

according to a post I read:

OOOOhhh.... Abyss a key thing NEVER EVER EVER.... while in the abyss just jump off the side and glide. lol you will die. You have to fly first before you glide. Like you can fly, glide, fly. but you can't go jump glide, fly, glide. it doesn't work. Lol it sounds super confusing. But when your leveling and you get to really practice flying make sure you figure that out.

Oww, grammar nazi senses tingling. Well, if that's true, it's good to know i guess, on the off chance that I can get to the Abyss in a week. If there's only one thing you can take from the Chronicles of Spellbourne, it is that falling into the void is a bad thing.
