Well, it has been over a week in Aion. I have to say I have enjoyed everything so far. I've only reached Level 15 and I really haven't had the chance to group with any guild members. I canceled my WAR subscription last night. This got me thinking. Why did I cancel it? The answer is simple. Aion is the most beautiful world I have ever experienced in a game. WAR was dirty. I did love the RvR, but fighting over and over in the same forts and cities got old. I don't really know for sure how long this will hold my attention, but from the descriptions of the PvP action in this forum I am really looking forward to it. I think the main reason I am only level 15 is I have just been sightseeing. Enjoying the experience of the game. Anyway my queue is gone, I'm going in.

I feel the same way. I enjoy the world of Aion so far. I haven't done any PvP yet, but from everything I have heard from guildies, I think it will rock.
We have gotten some guild groups going for Krall and such, and we will get more going as wel level, so hopefully you will get to group with some guildies soon.

I'm glad you are liking it. I am too, though the first 17 have been pretty easy, thus not much chance to group. I hear it slows down and gets tougher, so grouping becomes more common.

While I enjoy grouping with guildies (it's one of the reasons I play an MMO after all), this game actually makes it easier to level solo in the beginning. You get a lot more experience solo than in a group. That being said, I usually still prefer the company over the faster leveling.
This is a beautiful game. It is on the scale of EQ2 and LotRO in terms of that. I am enjoying the diversion from the standard D&D type stuff too.

Agreed, Pvp is fun so far.... at least nobody's learned to look up yet while they farm. That will change.
