Flying in Aion, who hasn't heard of that yet? Pretty much everyone knows you can fly in Aion and that's 1 aspect of the game which seperates it from the other MMORPGs.

Rumor is that You can use W and S when gliding to glide a bit longer and The Aion Guy is going to test that next beta.
Another rumor : if you root someone while they are gliding it gets cancelled and they fall to their death
