I cannot WAIT for SWOR like most of us. However, I'm trying a new tactic with this MMO's release in that I'm doing my best to not overly look into the game right now.
I want it to be fresh, I want to be an extreme "noob" come release day and thus far, I'm doing good. It's exciting to know there is a high quality MMO on my radar that I don't know too much about that I still plan to play.
Can't WAIT!!
But, just wanted to know if anyone else takes this stance with new MMOs these days since so many have let us down post-launch and if you do... how has it gone for you?

I think there's a general concensus that we're "trying" to stay hype-free for SW:ToR and Guild Wars 2, but hotdamn are they making it difficult.
While I'm explicitly avoiding the website, I do make an exception to watch the new Holo-Journals, because I'm a lore junky when it comes to Star Wars (though admittedly my knowledge of the past in comparison to the future fails miserably when put next to Pazz's or Tak's).

Since I am a bit too much of a Star Wars fan to avoid visiting the site for the weekly trickle of news...I resort to just knowing with past experience what to expect from the game in general. I know it won't be ground breaking, but I hope it will be immersive. I know that it will be buggy, but I hope it won't be broken. I know it will have a great singleplayer story, but I hope it's going to be social enough for an MMO.
