Hey All i just found out that some how my WoW account got hacked. Blizzard has already restored the characters which is good. But i have a feeling i have a keylogger. If any of you have had success with removing these please let me know how you did it. I have already ordered my authenticator for my battle net account so that will help but just trying to fix the rest of the system so i don't have to worry about the big things like credit card info and what not. I have run adaware, AVG and Avast anti virus as well as spy bot search and destroy. Hope fully those work but any other sudjestions would be appreciated.

I like Malwarebytes for some file scrubbing.
For antivirus, I've switched every PC in the house, and every friends/relatives PC I end up working on over to Microsoft's Security Essentials.

If it were my computer (or like it happened to my girlfriend's), I wouldn't trust that PC for anything at all.
I would (like I did) format and reinstall Windows.
That's drastic, I know, but "I say we take off and nuke the entire site from orbit. It's the only way to be sure. "

As an aside, I met someone in PC security, and asked him about online banking and such. He said that he uses Firefox with NoScript, and he has a 2nd account on his PC that he only uses to log into the bank websites. Apparently there are some sites which will install a virus that will wait until you log into a bank site, then it will rear up and capture your info. So surf with one account, bank with a second. You can't be totally safe, but that will help.

Just a little FYI. Beware of the MS Security Essentials if you run a "not so legal" copy of Windows. It requires a genuine version of the OS. Not that any of us do that on any of our machines or nothing.
