If I bought the box and needed to update it to the current version, what would the download size be please? These things are important for us hicks with dialup. If it is small enough I might get on, just to kick yall in the nuts.

I'll take forever on dialup. IMHO. We're talking the LOTRO trial, right? I bought the game and it fits on 2DVD, mind you, the second DVD is used for the high definition textures that you won't get in the trial, I'd think.
EDIT: OH, nevermind, you have the box... Yeah, what Winin said. Either those files from Gamespot or you let the updater do its job overnight from the install disk to update. Might be shorter to use the download links, since those are better compressed and whatnots.

links on DSL only took me bought an 1.5 hours for both.
If you use gamespot's DL service it helps and you can set them both to DL all night.
This game isn't too laggy until you do the monster battles and it's not very congested so don't worry about lag in game probably.
