(on the Xbox360)This game rocks. I suggest any CoT members who like this kind of game pick it up. I think it's a step up from COD4. Really enjoying it. We should totally get some CoT action going. Last night me and Vejuz were carving the CoT name into German scum(and sometimes American scum ) Lots of fun! Think we hit 15 or something. Just went balls to the wall crazy. Course, I kinda messed up his flow a bit cause he's a patient sniper....and I'm and impatient submachinegunner. ;D Lots of fun though, and one of the few things I do have time for. Anyone who wants to get down hit me up. GT: Thrakus183 Winin, if your reading this, get this game brotha! We need a CoT group to come wreck this joint! And the new Live Group thing rocks. Plus when your in a group with people it lights you up bright blue in game so it's real easy to find your allies and coordinate. Hope to see you guys in game soon.

I was really impressed with the live group feature. I sets up a private chat and the game tries to spawn you near people in your party and marks them with a big blue marker. We gotta get together sometime.

I've been thinking about it. Unfortunately I hate the weapons back in the WWII era. They were groundbreaking, i know. I respect that.
I'm all about the planes during WWII

I've been thinking about it. Unfortunately I hate the weapons back in the WWII era. They were groundbreaking, i know. I respect that. I'm all about the planes during WWII I hate WW2 games with a passion. But it doesn't feel like your firing a old clunker. Mechanically, it feels just like COD4. The guns fire the same, slightly better accuracy. The looks is all that changes. Trust me if anyone wanted to avoid playing a WW2 game its me. I like modern guns/vehicles. Not peashooters and trench warfare. But this game feels so nice I can't stop playing. The lvl design is the best I've seen in a FPS yet. Very well done on most lvls.(one or two mehs, but still tolerable) Really, if your even remotely interested and liked COD4 try this one. It's really a step up, even if it looks like a step down.

I keep meaning to rent it and check it out. I need to get my butt over to the rental store. But we just got LOST season 3 disk 4. We can't watch just one episode.

Well when you finish that get on board man! We could get a whole crew! I've got a couple dudes who play that who used to play COD4 with me who want to group up. We could get a nice 5-6 guys rolling at the same time. Just thinking of running in a nice group like that makes me drool. Have our strike squad on the ground roving while snipers covered from a specific location. Just hold a point and force the enemy to come to us. Me and vej saw a group doing it last night and they were unstoppable. And they moved as a group and pretty much wasted anything in their path and took over the next building.

I got this for pc for christmas. I love it. Sorry, I dont have any consoles or I would join yall. The leveling system and all the challenges are super nice. I am lvl 30 somethin, think a 1st LT. I bet the friends grouping thing is much better on the console, because its very hit and miss on the pc. But I dont do console shooters anymore, mouse aim is just too nice for me. All the differnet weapons and perks you can get make the customization very nice. Tak, if you like ww2 aviation then Aces High II is a game for you. This is the best mmo ever made imo. The company that makes it is a small one that does only this game, nothing else. You can get 2 weeks free without a credit card, at which time you are in the game just like a regular subscriber. After that its 15 a month. The game is all online, 99% vs other players (only some AA that is ai), very in depth in many aspects, and has a very long learning curve, meaning you can play it for 5 years and still get your ass handed to you, its always a challenge. There is no 'end game', you cant really beat it. The main arena is a 3 sided war on a huge map with hundereds of bases, fighters, attack planes, light and heavy bombers, aircract carriers, ground vehicles from AA jeeps to tanks, resupply planes and ground vehicles, and a bunch more. I cant do the game justice without typing a 5 page write up. I stopped playing when I had to go to a crappy internet connection and I havent really started back due to time constraints. I flew with the Battling Bulldogs as Snocone back in the day. Give it a shot, but be warned. If you are a real ww2 aviation geek like I am, you will be very sucked in. <S>

I got this finally. I'm on the road now, but I can't wait to get home and try it. I did wind up with the PC version. I'm still a PC guy when it comes to FPS games. Nothing beats mouse and keyboard. Any other PC players?

Yeah, i got it for the PC for Xmas. Played a bit of single player and a couple maps of multiplayer. I didnt like the multiplayer but I talked to my bud about it and he told me the maps I played were the worst and needed to give it another shot. So I will....someday.
