me too! I added some new slogans to the top of the forums and I'm excited to see if i did it right (probably not).
and i noticed that the screenshots page banner images stopped rotating and I dont know how that happened, so i changed it to just random on refresh/visit. Again, i have no idea if i did it right.
So if those two things are messy when the images do come back, it's my bad and I'll fix it as soon as I can.

Hey Z. I got your IM and then received the email so I thought you were just kidding around at first...then better understood the situation. If you need me to do anything, let me know...and if you find out what happened, let me know as well. I don't get it.

I had to call Dotster - no 800 number and of course they're in Washington state. I was only on hold for 7 minutes before someone even spoke to me.
First Dotster said that my account is locked and it can't be transfered. So I told him that I'm looking at my account online as we're speaking and it's not locked. I point out to the Dotster guy that locking is an extra paid feature that I don't even have.
So then Dotster says that it's in a "pending transfer status", it's approved on their end and it's awaiting the transfer. They say it's been pending since 2/6/07 and it can take up to 10 days to transfer, so they expect it to transfer by the 16th.
Which is BS because their website says transfers take place within 5 days. If I have to call back again on the 16th, I pitty the person who answers the phone. I'm patient with stuff I get for free, but I pay these assholes and I have paid them since 2003.

Wooohooo! That call did something, Z! I just talked to Brett and we discussed the way the new interface works for this company...everything is set up...we're good to go...it should point to my server in 24-48 hours...then we'll make sure I didn't screw anything up (which can be fixed in seconds ). Now you have complete control...I'll go over it with ya later...at home waiting for furniture to be delivered today.

It's already hitting the hot rock server...now I just need to change some permissions for you so the pages will display. I'm still at home...may be until lunch time...sorry Z. It should all be resolved by the end of the day.

I was getting the usuall cannot be found page up until today, now I'm getting....
The page cannot be displayed You have attempted to execute a CGI, ISAPI, or other executable program from a directory that does not allow programs to be executed. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Please try the following:
Contact the Web site administrator if you believe this directory should allow execute access. HTTP Error 403.1 - Forbidden: Execute access is denied. Internet Information Services (IIS)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Technical Information (for support personnel)
Go to Microsoft Product Support Services and perform a title search for the words HTTP and 403. Open IIS Help, which is accessible in IIS Manager (inetmgr), and search for topics titled Configuring ISAPI Extensions, Configuring CGI Applications, Securing Your Site with Web Site Permissions, and About Custom Error Messages. In the IIS Software Development Kit (SDK) or at the MSDN Online Library, search for topics titled Developing ISAPI Extensions, ISAPI and CGI, and Debugging ISAPI Extensions and Filters.
That a good thing or a bad thing?

it's a good thing. Seems as though after my phone call last night, the domain transfered right away! What a crazy coincidence.
so everything is good, we just have to wait for Wrasse to do his magic and it'll be peachy. He's stuck at home right now, but as soon as he gets in to his office he'll fix the permissions and we're golden.

i guess this post is unnecessary since you can obviously see it works, but I dont care, I'm so happy!
and the slogans work and the screenshot banners change randomly upon refresh/visit.
I'm so happy!
Thanks Wrasse! and thank you everyone for putting up with the mess until it was fixed!

Fracking snafaking shopufs... my dns servers have negitive caching turned on - i'll have to wait for a refresh from home. On the plus side - i control the caching on the dns servers at work so I've fixed there there for me
