Happy Friday all. Just wondering if any of you have video game tats? I've been thinking about getting a Castle Crashers tat to represent my nephews. They are big time gamers and some of their earliest gaming memories revolve around Castle Crashers. I currently have a Chell from Portal tat. It's true what they say....those fuckers are addictive.

I have no tattoos. As indicated from my nomadic MMOing, I am a fickle person. Permanent is not a good idea for me.
That being said, I do like tattoos that are well done. I've thought about it on more than 1 occasion.

I've toyed around with the idea of a tat of Michigan (the state not the university), but nothing gaming related as of yet. Could never really narrow down where on my body I would actually with something being there permanently.

I think about getting one from time to time. If I did, it would be video game related for sure and probably something simple and nostalgic. But I've never been able to figure out exactly what that would be for me, personally.
I'll most likely never get one though because I'm a huge wimp.

I have two I got very young, and then ended up disliking both of them.
I have thought about 1 more now that I am older and thought about it more.
It would definitely be something either video game, or comic book related.
I have 2 ideas, but don't know if I will ever do either.

Slurms, the tattoo's don't hurt. I was amazed that they didn't. I have 2, a soccer ball and 2 dragons entwined shaping a yin-yang. Both on my back on my shoulder blades. Friggin addicting!!

I've got a tattoo but not gaming related. I've been excited to get another ever since (it's been probably 8 years now at this point) though I'm not sure if it would be about gaming or not. Nothing has jumped out and me and screamed GET ME so I'm still waiting. =)
The boyfriend was thinking of getting a Zelda triforce done where his watch would sit so it would be covered and still easily visable when he wanted to show it. Not quite game related, but he was also thinking of a binary arm band.

With all due respect, anyone that tells you that tattoos are not painful are full of crap or have no nerve endings. Your dermis is being punctured/scraped. Here is the best example that I can come up with that explains how a tattoo feels. Have you ever scrapped your knee after falling off a bike? Now imagine that feeling in a repetitive motion. Now how you handled that fall and wound is an effective way of knowing if you could handle a tattoo or not. I have a high pain threshold. So when I was a kid I bounced right back after a scrape. Others may not be so lucky, and that is ok. Also if you are into the pain aspect BDSM (hey that seems to be the in thing now) that is a good sign that you are ok with tats. The experience can be similar. There are 3 aspects that make tats exciting. 1.)Choosing a design that you feel represents you 2.) The rush of waiting for the pain. If you've gone paintballing you know what I mean. 3.) The pain itself. No matter what your pain threshold is, there is pain involved. While you are in pain (especially pain that is repetitive) your body releases endorphins. Many people, including myself feel slightly intoxicated when getting tattooed. For me personally it feels like that 1st hit off a joint. I'm not a big pothead so maybe this comparison is way off for other people. That's the point though. Getting tattooed is a different experience for everyone. So never listen to people who say they don't hurt or hurt way too much. That's for you to decide, if you ever get one. I hope this was helpful. If not, fuck off! I kid, I kid.
