Can someone please give me a quick rundown with analogies, or point me to a resource.
It looks like rift, lots of skill trees, you can have 3 active, and mix/match skills from those 3 trees. It says you can eventually unlock them all, but only 3 at a time. So I can do tank/healer one night and then swap to stealth/nuker the next night. Right?
Then some other sites are making it sound like if you have 3 and you drop one of them to get a different one, you have to start over and level it up. So if you have sorcery, witchcraft, and stealth, and you are all maxed out, then you drop sorcery for archery, you have to level up archery. What happens when you want to switch back to sorcery, you have to start from scratch with sorcery? I'm confused. Can I have 1 character and change my skill sets on a whim to suit my situation (group needs a healer...OK I have my healing setup now.)
Rift and The Secret World have this kind of swap-on-the-fly classless system. Is that true here or not?
Thanks!

I've been looking at those. Great info, but assumes you understand how the system works.

I have no idea how the system works and I haven't looked at anything. I'm learning through discovery right now and I'm just enjoying it.
