Bazaar of the Four Winds Starts in Guild Wars 2 on July 9th

The summer market festivities will include new events, rewards and features including the new PvP map, Skyhammer, WvW Build and Repair Masteries, the new Belcher's Bluff mini-game, the Sanctum Sprint race, and Lessons from the Sky scavenger hunt.

The Account Achievement Reward System, allowing players to unlock armor and weapon skins, along with permanent account bonuses, starts with this release as well.

I have the Belcher's one done and all of the race ones done. I got 1st in a lucky race last night.
I'm only about 1/4 of the way done looking for crystals. I'm going to try and find some kites today.

TIP: I've heard that after the event, all of the quarts nodes go away. If you've accomplished getting 16 achievements for this event, then you unlock 1 permanent node in your home zone. If you're stuck on an achievement, don't sweat it. The sprint has a repeatable achievement you can do. You get 1 point for every 15 races you do. Time consuming, but I actually think it's fun and it's nice to have an alternative if you're unable to get one of the other achievements.


EDIT: Looks like the repeatable isn't worth achievement points after the first time through but you still get chests for it.

I didn't like the race at first. It seemed super long compared to what I remember Rollerbeetle racing to be (which was AWESOME and they need to bring it back somehow) but once you get used to the course layout and understand what the power-ups do, it goes by super quick.

Got all the crystals, Belcher's Bluff, and the race achievements. I plan on looking for Kites tonight. Since the achievements and rewards are all account bound rather than soul bound, I think I'm going to switch to my Mesmer. Really want to get him leveled.

Meh, I have not even logged on once for this. Even the beautiful kites can't get me interested, sadly.
