hi hi! Remember the single player console game series Final Fantasy with airships, chocobos, moogles, etc from way back in the day? I am in beta but it's only available during the weekends, so I have little actual play time. I played Final Fantasy XI and really liked it. This beta feels very similar it thus far. Anyone else in beta or planning to try the game when released in September? It will be available for PS3 and PC. Links: www.facebook.com/FinalFantasyXIV www.finalfantasyxiv.com/ www.youtube.com/FINALFANTASYXIVI went back to Rift for a few months last winter. I am currently back in WoW and very happy with it--I can log in and get so much done quickly now. Hubby and I are considering checking out to this game, though. >.<

Hey Nef!
I'm actually somewhat interested in XIV. It's had such a rough time since the original launch and with all the work that's been pumped into it, I'm actually curious how it turns out. Sort of like rooting for an underdog MMO.

I'm a sucker for "the underdog" type of games too. Anarchy Online anyone?

Yeah, I wanted AO to be so much better than it was. Really enjoyed that they were trying to do something completely different for an MMO.

I haven't even thought about FFXIV since I got into the fail of a beta of the original release (saved me a purchase, that beta did). Out of curiousity, what have they changed to make it not awful?
