I'm curious if any of you folks that have been testers for long time, and keeping up with all the info on this game, know if they are planning on including some kind of sidekick system in neverwinter. star trek has one of the best i've seen where you can adjust your level either up or down to your team leader, allowing you to run content either above or below your level with your friends. Since STO is on the same engine and has the same development team it seems like there ought to be a system like this, but the only thing I was able to find in my search was that you can out level a dungeon and then not be allowed to run it.
i'd really love to see a feature like this, so that i don't have to worry about keeping a character in the same level range as my wife.

I don't think there was a sidekick system in place. Speculation was that the license holder nixed it, but no confirmation. Many people asked for it though.
You can and can't outlevel instances. You can't queue for them if you get too high, but you can still go to the zone door and enter. And when you hit 60, you can do elite versions of the old instances.
