If you've been following Neverwinter at all, you probably know that this weeekend is the 3rd and final beta weekend. And even if you're not following Neverwinter, you may have noticed that you can easily get a beta key for said weekend, because it seems like they are up for grabs everywhere. How can they handle that load? What are they doing... trying to crash the server? Actually, yes.
I received my Neverwinter Beta Weekend invitation yesterday, where I read:
We are also holding a Crash the Shard event on March 23nd starting at 1pm PDT. If you login between 1pm and 2pm on that day, you will receive an exclusive Pirate Hat when Neverwinter launches!
So there you have it. Help crash the server and get a fancy hat. Not a bad deal. I'm guessing I'll see some nekkid MPers running around Neverwinter right about that time.
Neverwinter will be available to play starting March 22nd at 12pm PDT, and then closing on March 24th at 11:59pm PDT. This is the third beta weekend for Neverwinter. This is the first time that the Great Weapon Fighter, Pirates' Skyhold, Icespire Peak, Chasm and PvP will be available for the masses to try.
