What iPod Touch should I get? I just want it for Facetime and the board-game style games that are only out of iOS. I have a Droid phone for my podcasts/casual games/etc. Is 8GB plenty? I'm not a music or video dude, so I'm not going to be storing a ton of media on it.
Any thoughts from those who know iPods?

8GB is actually 7-7.5GB (with Apple info and programming etc). I have an 8g and I fit about 900 songs on it (I have around 1million). All I really know about is the Nano which is what I have, but I wanted to get the GB situation out there for you.

You always think you won't fill it up, yet I've almost managed to fill my 32GB iPhone

I've never managed to fill up an iPod or iPhone so I always go for 8GB. But I'm pretty anal about files and constantly delete anything that doesn't get used.

I should mention I have like 6 movies on my iPhone, which I use as a last resort during times of sheer absolute boredom xD

I have 16 gigs on my android phone, but I also have something called a pogoplug, which allows me to plug a usb hard drive into my network at home, and access it as a local drive on any computer over the internet, as well as access the drive from my phone. It's a little hard to stream movies that way unless you compress them right in advance, but music plays fine and files transfer pretty quick. So I end up storing all my e-books, movies, and music there so that i can access them on the go.
the ipod's can have internet access right? so that could be helpful if you want to save money on a smaller drive.

I'm going to look at the refurb market. 8 is probably fine but I'll go up if it isn't much more. I think I'm more a Grok than a Rer. Thanks!

Good idea. I bought an 8gb refurb from Apple. Arrives next week. I'll start a new thread for games. I did look at a few, and they were all in the under 100 MB range, so I think I'm safe.
