Um, I don't even see Main Assets 15. I see 1 and then it goes to 17. Uninstall everything then reinstall the launcher.
Before you do that, check your install location and make sure the only "version" file you have reads: assets_swtor_main.version Should be nothing that says "beta" or anything like that.

We had a similar error with the Blizzard installer when i was working there. No idea if the cause is related, but when we had that problem with WoW, it was usually because the user had the UAC feature of windows turned on, and the solution to it was very simple. Instead of double clicking the game icon to start it up, you just have to right click and say "run as administrator" even if you are already the admin. No idea if the star wars problem is the same, so maybe that doesn't help you, but figured it was worth a shot.

Some other general things that may cause issues with the installing portion of the process (assuming that the problem isn't star wars itself).
Internet security packages, especially Norton and McAfee can be aggressive about files you just downloaded. Try turning them off, or briefly uninstalling them.
Problems with the hard drive location you are installing to. could try a defrag, clearing a few extra gigs of space, or installing the game to a backup drive.

Things I've heard from devs (that are actually helpful) in the past 3 months...
-SWTOR is designed to be installed to the C drive. Install it there then move it wherever. -Try disabling your antivirus/firewall. -Check your allowed files and make sure SWTOR is on that list. -Open taskmanager and shutdown processes that aren't necessary (i.e., iTunes, Sims download manager, etc).
If these don't help. Run FixLauncher. If still no. Uninstall then redownload everything.
