Hey everyone My parents are grabbing me a PS2 with some classic games as a sort of 'throwback Christmas' gift. I'm super psyched to hit up my old flames like Dark Cloud and such, but there's just one issue I don't have a TV xD, that, and I kinda want to do recordings of the games! So now I'm in the market for a VGA Converter Box. My goal is to possibly find one that will also let me record the footage to my PC, because that would be badass. I'm not interested in a TV Tuner card because the quality tends to be bad (And I don't have room inside my rig). Nor do I want to use an Emulator, I want to be honest with my Classics damnit! So, if anyone has any experience using VGA Converters I'd love to hear your opinions on where to look. Thanks in advance

I never had a PS/2 ...did it have Component output, or was it just Composite? Monoprice has some options: www.monoprice.com/products/search.asp?keyword=vga+converter&x=0&y=0I don't personally have any experience with them. So what kind of inputs does your monitor have? I would say if the PS/2 only has Composite out, this would be what I would get. Lets you keep your current VGA connection, and it acts like a switchbox. Not a big deal if your VGA input on your monitor is free because you are using DVI, etc
