That's what you get for playing WoW. In all honestly I saw a HUUUGE increase (giggity) in my WoW spam after I registered on Facebook with my old email address. There has to be some connection but never figured it out unless Facebook really does sell your email (I thought that they didn't but certain apps on their could take it and forward it even though I play/use none on there). Who knows, good policy is to NEVER open an email that claims its from a game company unless you sent that company an email and its a Reply to your Subject. I am so glad gmail has some amazing filtering technology that a lot of emails don't have. I had a zip file sent to a yahoo account (multiple email addys ftw!) from a friend who got hacked/spammed from FB and it looked real. Until I realized that this friend doesn't even know what a ZIP file is so I quickly deleted and contacted them... /Hate hackers/spammers/botters/w/e (slashies!!!!)

Yeah, I always check to see if it's from someone I know, or a company that has said it would be sending e-mail. Barring that, a company from a job site that I remember applying to. Anything else hits the spam filters and is thrown into the abyss with the viagra and enlarge your credit rating ads.
