Race Relations in the Warhammer World
This is a summary of how the Warhammer races relate to one another.

Part 5- Orcs
Who: The Empire. Although not the preferred enemy of the Orcs, the Empire is constantly being hit by various Orc invasions.
Why: Orcs fight everyone and everything, including themselves. Orcs judge their opponents solely on how good of a fight they can put up. Although men of the Empire generally fight unfair by Orc standards, ( "Dem stinkin' humies is shootin' up da poor boyz wit dem loud wizzbangs and fansy magicks!") the location of the Empire and numbers of humans is just too tempting for Orc Warbosses to pass up. Besides, killing men is better than sitting around doing nothing. Often Orc Warbands pass through the Empire and slay and pillage en route to their next location. It was, after all, the Orcs that the Humans evicted from their lands in the days of Sigmar.
Who: Dwarfs. The Orcs and Dwarfs are ancient enemies. The hatred Dwarfs have for Orcs is extreme. This suits Orcs just fine as it makes for a better scrap!
Why: Known to Orcs as "Stunties", the Dwarfs have been battling greenskins of various description for millenia. Battles between the two races are loud and fierce. Dwarf Rune Axes swing for Orc necks, and Orc iron-shod boots fly for Dwarf faces. When a period of earthquakes rent massive holes in many of the great Dwarf holds, it was the Orcs who poured through the defenses. Greenskins now occupy many of these Dwarf holds and keep them as their own. These fallen Dwarf holds are the most common battlefields in which these two races meet. The Dwarfs are intent on recovering lost artifacts, territory and honour. The Orcs are eager,as always, for a good scrap against their old enemy. It should also be noted that Night Goblins utterly hate Dwarfs. This is because they have fought and faced the Dwarfs more than any other Greenskin. Night Goblins have fought many subterranean battles with the Dwarfs for territory and wealth.
Who: The High Elves. The Orcs, ironically, are disdainful of High Elves.
Why: Orcs respect size, toughness, brutality and agressiveness. The High Elves are none of these things. The bulk of Elves will collapse after a good head butt to the face or swift boot to the gut. They are generally considered unworthy of the effort of a real scrap, just a swift kickin' and on to the next foe. Naturally things do not always go that way, and many Orcs armies expecting an easy raid through Ulthuan have ended up pierced full of arrows or as Griffon food. It should be noted that Goblins, who form a significant part of Orc society, are utterly afraid of Elves. This is the complete opposite from how Orcs see Elves to be sure. Goblins are cunning, malicious and also very superstitious. The fey nature of Elves strikes fear into their hearts and cause them to be even more cowardly than normal.
Who: Dark Elves. Please see Mythic's Warhammer MMO Newsletter - January 2006 Issue
Why]: See above.
Who: Chaos. Orcs love to battle the forces of Chaos. Battles between Chaos and Orc armies are a grand sight and can literally last for days.
Why: Orcs are born for war; it is their only purpose in life. Chaos Warriors are the finest combattants in the Warhammer World and naturally put up the best fight. Not only are they filled with troops as hard as nails, but Chaos armies do not use ranged weapons. When fighting Chaos everything is settled in good, old fashioned melee combat. To the Orcs this is indeed the ideal enemy. One of the greatest Orc Warbosses of all time, Grimgor Ironhide, met his equal in the form of a Chaos Lord. Grimgor and the mighty Vadrek Crom fought from dawn until darkness and could not best eachother; a strong personal rivalry has developed between these two leaders of war.
All this information comes from Games Workshop's Warhhammer 5th edition Army Books and the 6th edition Storm of Chaos campaign suppliment. It is 100% their material, it is all just written in my words.
