I haven't run Scarlet Monastery is a million years and I am glad you actually got an achievement out of the deal. I’m now 3 bubs from 42 and it was good to get some non-grey shoulders… and it was fun remembering all the crawling SM used to require as we swept through it. And yeah, my tailor burned through all that silk already. Thanks again!

I always liked SM. Back when I was fiddling with WoW again last summer, I'd take my high level toons in there just to farm and piddle around for old times sake. One of the dungeons I liked and didn't mind running through.

yes I have always liked the Monastery as well. Probably one of my top 3 favorite WOW dungeons.

I really enjoy the Occulus. Fighting a dragon from the back of a dragon with different dragon abilities is cool. I may be the only person that likes this instance though.

I had a lot of fun Zeli (I keep typing Zely!) and I'm looking forward to Uldaman next. The whole Raiders of the Lost Ark theme with the staff and the miniature city is awesome. Then it's on to Undead Stratholme which is one of my favorites. I still run it about once a week to work on my Argent Dawn rep and maybe get the mount to drop. Barose, I don't mind Occulus, however the last time I did it in a pug someone said we didn't need kill the dragons around one of the bosses, he was wrong. We pulled the boss and all the dragons joined him. It was actually pretty cool to see even though we wiped.

I did not really mind Occulus if people knew what they were doing but when people couldn't use the dragons on Heroic it made Solv angry. Probably the one place that I would not PuG. SM was also a favorite of mine. I loved all of the old school dungeons pretty much except for Scholo since I remember my first clear in the place and it took 5 hours with 5 people (right before BC though we were destroying it in under 30 minutes so it wasn't so bad). SM was the first dungeon to me where you could run it in 20 to 30 minutes for a wing and be done. I really enjoyed that. Plus it had the scripted event in the cathedral after you killed Mograine/Whitemane. I just thought that was cool as hell. Top 3 for me are: Black Morass (LOVED that one so much) SM UBRS

Oh cool some fresh WoW discussion on Multiplaying. I had some fabulous adventures with multiboxing SM back in the day... had a whole set of matching Argent Crusade gear for my lowbie Tauren Warrior including the tabard... LOL Being Horde however I did prefer Zul'Farrak to Uldaman in the low 40s... the huge fight with 6 dozen mobs rushing up the stairs was my first "whoa, epic" moment in WoW. Then losing a roll on my Priest for a purple staff that dropped to a Warrior... he was all like "hey I can equip it...." So Aruth if SM is one of your "top 3" what are the other 2... if you're Alliance I am betting one of them has got to be Deadmines. I soloed that on my Undead Priest main just for the achievement unlock (and Stockades too.... lol) and wished I'd had a chance to see it as it was meant to be experienced, as an Alliance n00b in Fall 2004. But yes classic Strat is awesome... if nothing else thanks to TIMMY! If I had to pick a favorite dungeon from each "phase" of WoW it would be Strat for vanilla, Karazhan for TBC and Violet Hold on Heroic mode for WOTLK. And no, I didn't like Oculus, the idea was cool but controlling the dragon felt WAY too clunky for what you needed to do there. I might go back to WoW a final time one of these years but WOTLK was a slight letdown and so I have been greatly enjoying my last year of playing other games instead... if I'd never left I wouldn't be posting here, after all

Zul Gurub for me. My best WoW memories are going in there week after week, taking down boss after boss. By the end of it my Warrior had every melee weapon available in that place.
