Well, it seems that my Authenticator wasn't enough to keep my account from being hacked. I was downloading the latest WoW patch and decided to log in to Battle.net to start my sub up again via timecard, and couldn't log in. I decided to verify that something was wrong and fired up Starcraft 2,...not able to log in. I tried resetting my password, and it says my secret answer is incorrect. I'm really not gung-ho about WoW enough to go through the trouble of contacting them AGAIN to get my account back AGAIN. So, I guess I'll be taking this time card back and canceling my Cataclysm pre-order.

Hey bud, Saia's BF here. Sucks hard about your WOW & SC2 accounts, especially this soon after it was hacked previously. It sounds like you were man-in-the-middled or phished. My money is on the first one, there's been a couple variations of that happening in the last year. Additionally, there's quite a bit of malware that targets the wow executable and intercepts the info going to the game; changes what goes into the login box; then goes and (quickly) changes your password which is a slight variation on MITM. The other more unlikely scenario is that you're on a public net and someone is sniffing and/or sslstripping you and then MITMing your web sessions.
With that all said, it sounds like your computer has some malware hiding on it that is specifically targetting the wow website or the wow executable.
Hate seeing a fellow gamer throw in the towel, let saia or myself know if you need some help looking around on your system. Good Luck!
PS HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Hey man, the same thing happened to me around the beginning of October. (I wasn't playing WoW at the time, was away for almost a year and my account wasn't even active.) If you contact them it should only take a week or less to get your account back. I'd hate to see you lose all the time/money you have invested into the game already, especially since you have SC2 tied to that account, too.

oh, I'll get it back at some point , but I was already starting to question the money I spent on a timecard and the expansion hehe. I really just don't feel like jumping through hoops for the game, so I'll be getting my money back and saving it for something else =D

Ah ok. I'd say even without the expansion, though, you should consider subbing for a month or two just to check out the revamped stuff from 1-60. I mean, that's a ton of new content to experience, and even if you're not planning on playing long-term it's going to be really cool to run around remembering how different the world used to be. Hell I'll throw you a scroll of resurrect so you could come back for 10 days and check stuff out.
