The floating shelves are a neat idea, but $250? That's frickin insane for 5 pieces of carpeted wood. But then again, those idiots probably paid over a grand for that ugly coffee table.

And let's face it, gang....cats are gonna go where THEY want to go....not where you want them to go. A couple of weeks ago, I was away for the weekend and when I came home, my one cat staked her claim on top of my suitcase. I figured she liked being up off the floor a bit so we bought her a little carpeted cat perch thingy. I can't get her to stay on it long enough to get to like it but I'd bet my bottom dollar that if I was to take out the suitcase again, she'd be right there on top!

Our cat gets on my suitcase everytime I get it out too. I wonder what it is? Maybe he wants to travel.

Yeah, one of ours does also. He also tries to get inside while I am packing it. But then again, he gets into every single box he can! Must be a cat thing. Like chittering at the birds outside the window.

Must be a cat thing. Like chittering at the birds outside the window. Oh yeah, that's freaky!! Only one of mine does that and not so much now that she's an old gal but yep, she used to sit in the window, making this weird noise, her eyes darting everywhere and her tail going a million miles an hour. Then again, my other cat probably never did it because....well, because she's brain damaged and not the brightest lil bulb, poor baby... poor Navi

We have a constant struggle to keep them out of the bedroom and my wife's office. She is allergic, so we had to establish some "No No Kitty Zones".

Yeah, I had to barricade my basement crawl space because, when my daughter moved home for the summer and brought her cat, Navi (my little brain damaged cat) went in there and wouldn't come out for weeks.....it was like feeding a ghost! She's always been very timid and very much a one-person cat (that one person being me) but as the summer progressed, she became more and more withdrawn and would bolt with any noise or movement and wouldn't even come to me. I sat on the floor in the crawlspace for 45 minutes with an open can of tuna in front of me, trying to coax her to come out and she would NOT. Finally, I had to climb over boxes, etc., trap her and block her out of the crawlspace and into my room so I could get her socialized again.
