- Are the proposed Open World maps a result of community requests or was this something you had planned all along?
- Will the main development focus still be on instanced battles, or will open world creep in a bit more? Or is this something that will be evaluated based on how successful the initial open world maps are?
- Quite often in mission PvP I hear lots of Recon hate. It often revolves around what a Recon's perceived role is (or lack thereof). It can make playing a Recon a bit frustrating. I've never seen such a widely maligned class in any MMO I've played. Can the developers think of any way they might help the situation? Is this a player perception or balancing issue?

I'd like to expand on Grok's last question;
More often than not, snipers are more "useful" by taking out turrets/med stations/power stations etc rather than taking out players. Is there anything planned to be done about this or is this working as intended?
Might want to word it better, but that kinda always bothered me when I was sniping. Constantly getting yelled at to be more useful for taking out platforms rather than players

Back in beta, melee seemed to be inordinately strong compared to guns, though maybe it was just that many people focused on melee. Is that still the case? Is melee intended to be a backup sort of attack or a primary attack? How many kills are done by melee vs. gun/grenade?
I ask because I don't really enjoy melee fighting in pvp, and all the melee action turned me off from the game.

They nerfed it pretty hard right before release but there were still several times when I was in game all I could hear was the sound of Recon swords around me, kinda annoying

What is being implemented to enhance the gameplay of the solo character. As it stands right now a person who doesn't want to join an agency, or has a low activity agency has no reason to ever sub to the game other then crafting.

Last night I got yelled at for not taking out turrets just as I had killed the Robot and the medic healing him, allowing our team to take the lead. When a team loses, quite often the Recons get blamed, and of course Recons never get any credit for a win.

I openly admit I'm a classist against Recons. We discuss it in Episode #6, which should hopefully be released later today.
Recons just straight up do not have the survivabillity to capture points. They are good for:
Beacon Hunting Breaking Up Clusters Sniping Healers/Anti-Sniping
Honestly, that's about it. (Again, that's just my opinion)

It's more of the way the game is designed. Granted a sniper can two shot someone when they get a little higher level, that person is going to respawn before the cooldown of robo stuff is up anyways. And with the added ease of beacons they'll be back in the fight even quicker.

Interview is done!
We ended up having Todd Harris and Stew Chisam on and they were great. We talked for about an hour and had a fantastic time. It went so damn smooth I could damn near throw bumpers on it and call it an episode.
But I won't
