Hey all,

This week we'll have the opportunity to interview Travis Baldtree and Max Schaefer of Runic games, the company behind the newly released Torchlight.

Max was one of the founders of Blizzard North and was one of the main figures behind Diablo. Travis was the lead designer on another Action RPG called Fate.

If anyone has any questions regarding the games they've worked on, or anything gaming related..hell, I don't care if you want to ask them for hair styling tips, post them up here and we'll do our best to pass them along.

I have a couple of question for now, I may add some more later since I only bought Torchlight last night (yep, while everyone else bought Dragon Age I bought TL - lol)

First, why can't I play a Destroyer with a female avatar?

Second, I see a theme in the genre of games thay have been a part of. What was their inspiration for the sword and sorcery aspect? Did the play pen and paper Dungeons and Dragons? (I still have all my book and dice btw) Was it certain books/authors that inspired them?

Third, is mousse better than gel for a good solid hold? (lol, that ones for Grok!)

Is it possible to drive my character around mmo style, or do I have to use click to move?

The alchemist looks a lot like characters from the tabletop game Warmachine. Do you play? If so, what is your favorite faction?

What non-computer games do you play/inspire you?

Are you going to add multiplaying (small scale co-op) to Torchlight? Or are you thinking of jumping straight to mmo-scale? Or do you have another single player game in the works?
