Ok lately my internet explorer has been crashing randomly and I can't open a new tab window for internet explorer I heard this was because of the SP3 microsoft released. Two questions 1) Does anyone know if this is true? 2) If it is true how can it be fixed? I currently uninstalled sp3 from my computer but havent checked to see if the problem was fixed .

SP 3 was mostly security fixes that were included with other patches MS makes available (so if you patch regularlly you should be covered).
With SP3 however I know that it did introduce a couple of things we had to work around at the office (Driver signing stuff) But I've not heard of any IE related issues (since IE is a MS product its kind of bad press if a Security patch and enhancements breaks one of their own products.) So I'm not inclined to think they're related, though stranger things have happened.
More likely there is something is conflicting with one of the patches. (I know there was an IE patch not too long ago that broke things and it might have been applied w/ out the fix for the patch included). Try doing a windows update (http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com) and seeing if you just apply the critical/important patches than re-sp3 if it might resolve your issue.
