Fair enough. I read about that, but having used the TE stuff I'm not feeling the lack of options. Also, I dismissed the Fang as an option when I was looking to buy a gaming device such as we are discussing before I was given one because it doesn't have a D-pad for movement. The movement keys are laid out like the WASD keys and so you'd still have to move your fingers like you would on a keyboard. With the D-Pad, you use one digit for movement and the other 4 are always available for abilities. I'll let you know how I really feel once I break down and buy the new te because it is inevitable. (I was mainly basing my judgment of the editor by reading the reviews - and it may end up being something I enjoy more) I'm a sucker for the Nostromos and have had every version since their release...even the 10 key version (N50). It's funny because I initially tried to use the d-pad for movement (and may try once again) but found that I felt more comfortable using the AWSD style of movement with the keys and the D-pad for some of my primary attacks. I'm not sure it matters too much as you still are, essentially, using 4 keys for either movement or actions but I could never get used to not using AWSD after so many years of FPS and RTS games.

Yeah, I've been training myself to use the D-pad for movement to free up my fingers for abilities and it's been rough going. I think it'll be slower until I get used to it, but once I get used to using only my thumb for movement I'll be better off using the rest of my fingers for abilities only given how many useful ones there seem to be in WAR.
Edit: And I don't know about that package deal, Thrak. I find you get what you pay for.

OH I will have to show Gab this thread. We were at Best Buy today looking for a new system for me and she was eyeing one of these. She has cute little hands tho so do you think she will have any problem with it? Thanks, Veto

Depends on how little. The box for the TE allows you to put your hand on it so you can kind of get a feel for it.
What's her glove size? I normally wear a 10 or 11 and I wouldn't recommend it for hands much smaller than mine unless the are the really flexible piano player hands that I don't have.

Coming from the guy who is satisfied with man meat on his.. ahem... sewing needle, I'd have to say people who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. 10-11 is a large, give or take.

Hehe, This thread got funny for a bit there:) Gab has very small hands (like her glove size is a kids not adult ) and I think from what you have said she will probably struggle with the keypad. I think she missed why I sent her the thread tho from her post lol:) I will pop into her office in a few and see what she thinks. I know she really liked the idea of the N52te gamepad and almost bought it until I talked her out of it to look around at them more. Thanks for the info V

LOL I thought we were talking about gaming keyboards! I love my gaming keyboard; however when we go camping, I have my laptop and need a gaming keypad not keyboard. My hands are absolutely ridiculously small. I have to get my gloves in the kids section. So what keypad is out there for little gaming hands? Gabriella

...when we go camping, I have my laptop and need a gaming keypad... How exactly do you camp in a way that allows you to bring along a full gaming rig? Back in my day it was just tents and sleeping bags, much different from you young whippersnappers.

My idea of camping is the following: secluded wooded area, Horse stable, forest with lakes and streams for hiking and boating, High speed internet connection, fully functional kitchen, full bathroom with flushable toilet and shower, queen size bed, nice size kitchen table for eating, a large deck for relaxing and entertaining Veto and I have all this or we wouldn't go camping. Tent??? How can a gamer go tent camping??? No-can-do! We have a seasonal site that provides us all the seclusion we desire but all the comforts of modern technology too. Gabriella

You and my wife would get along very well. This is exactly her idea of camping as well.
