Sims Online is now EA Land (free)

I never played anything beyond the original Sims, but I just saw that the online game is now free to play.

Probably not a lot of orcs to kill though.

Same here... only played the first one. Not sure if i want to get into a RL kinda game. I have enough stress in my life, dont need a game to feel like RL. Dont want to have two jobs, one in RL and one in SIMS.

Stress? Are you kidding me? It is incredibly stress relieving to build a nice home for your sim, and then brick them into the bathroom. Watch the fun!!

I wonder if we could make a guild house in EA-Land? Then we could have an old-school style guild meeting (and then go crash someone else's private club or whatever they have there).

I played the Sims 2 when it first came out and then during a brief period of boredom I broke it out again. If you only played the original Sims, then they have definitely come a long way. It was one of those games that never held my interest for long though. Kinda like playing digital Barbie dolls. But I wonder if the online version has the criminal career line. In Sims 2 you could choose career criminal as your path. Hehe, that could be fun actually in the online game.
