I'm working on two games right now which I think folks might enjoy. If you'd like to help me test, post here or send me a DM and I'll add you to the test group so you can see the subforum.
Genepocalypse is a solo/co-op combat card game that pits the players against AI controlled enemies through an ongoing story. Optional rules allow for three way battles between two players and the AI controlled enemies. A unique combat modifier system adds unpredictability to the enemies attacks that simulates the “combos” and coordinated attacks that real players use in tabletop miniature wargames.
Assassin is a game for two players on an 8x8 grid. One player is the King, the other is the Assassin. The Assassin wins by capturing the King. The King wins by having a Guard capture the Assassin. I was brainstorming some board games based on A) existing board games and B) movie/video game/etc. tie ins. I came up with a mix of Stratego and Assassin's Creed. It is in the Chess and Checkers spectrum, somewhere between the both of them.
No pressure. Check it out and play if you like, comment on the rules, etc. There is a little but of printing and cutting to be done to make your copy. Mainly I want to get people in my target audience to play and give me feedback about what is/isn't fun and confusing.
