I didn't understand why people were so polite about these log in issues. When other MMOs have launched and addressed these issues, why are users okay with proven solutions not being implemented from the start? GW2 had overflow so that you didn't have to wait in a queue. Most other MMOs at least had a queue and an AFK booter. I did sit for a few hours trying to log in, struggling through severe flashbacks of Star Wars: Galaxies launch, and I wasn't even able to see the NA/EU server listings. It was frustrating... but not unforgivable. When you get an apology like this, it's forgivable.
