Very interesting article. I keep getting ideas for a story based game, but I don't really have the tools to implement it. I need a company to hire me to do ongoing quests and such. That would be the ideal writing job.

I've always thought that a PvE-based MMo could be awesome if they constantly updated the game with really good quest lines... the kind of stuff you could really get into story-wise. Maybe someday...

Maybe someday... actually, games like FFXI and now Lord of the Rings: Online do have heavy storyline moments (cut scenes and whatnots). In games like the latter, you really do feel like you're part of the story when you meet figureheads of the LOTR mythos (Aragorn/Strider, Gandalf or Gimli)...

I haven't looked into Lotr:O. I'll have to check it out.. maybe it'll be something to tie me over till WAR comes out. ;D
