I've been video-gaming for a while. I guess since...uhhh...wow...1978'ish? Anyone have any really old favorites that they would love to play today? (but your too lazy to futz with an emulator) There were a bunch I had in the 80's for my C=64 that I would LOVE to see & hear again. Phantasie and its sequels.... Magic Candle original Bard's Tales (lets face it, the newest one they released SUCKED...bought that terd used for the Xbox and SO glad I didnt pay full price) Adventure Contruction Set Blue Max Ace of Aces Bad Dudes (that had to be Ellwin's favorite) Wizard (I think that was the name of the Jumpman spin-off) All the games in the series with Legacy of the Ancients Ahhh well, just reminiscing a bit

Bad Dudes was a great one. I would also like..... River City Ransom California Games Ski or Die Secret of Monkey Island Police Quest (all of them) Space Quest (all of them) Kings Quest (the first 2) Tie Fighter Lode Runner Goonies for the NES Punch Out The original Prince of Persia And this one is a bit newer, but I really want a next-gen Road Rash, played over Xbox Live, that would rock.

The Bard's Tale rocked! I played a few of the old Ultimas, I loved the Infocom adventures (but don't think I'd play them again now ), my father and I played the Wizardry series and games like Lode Runner were great. *edit* One game Mal and I loved was Mutant League Football for the Gensis (a bit later I know). Man that game was fun...you could purposefully throw interceptions (football bombs) and blow up the defenders.

Mutant League was a good one. You would think a developer would go back to something like that, since only EA can make NFL games.

Well maybe someone can do a video game version of Games Workshop's old football combat game edit: Blood Bowl! That was the name that was escaping me.

I am never too lazy to mess with an emulator =D I use it to play Dragon Warrior 4.
If you buy the new Bard's Tale, which is nothing like the old series, you get the old series for free! The new one is fun in a different way.

Pool of Radiance for my C64 - I played the hell out of that game.
original F16 was great - played that head to head across a 2400 baud modem.
X-Wing from lucas arts - and Privater.
There was another one too privater in planes, can't remember it was good too.
The Arcade Version of Afterburner! that was cool.

Karateka!
One of the few games were you can die within 2 seconds of starting the game, just by taking 2 steps backward.

I've been downloading the old arcade games for Xbox360. I'm still waiting for Spy Hunter and Space Ace. I do have Joust though.

Marble Madness Police Quest Space Quest Kings Quest Quest for Glory (1-3 especially) Gabriel Knight Ultima 1 - 7 Maniac Mansion: Day of the Tentacle
I'm sure there's lots of others. I actually have a DVD full of the classic games kicking around somewhere. All the Sierra classics, Ultima, Bards Tale, Wizardry series, and a few other gems.
