Speaking of using a console controller, I thought I read somewhere that there was a method to use one on the PC. I've seen PC controllers that are supposed to be just like the console versions, only twice the price. Is this true, or was I just really drunk when I heard or read that(a possibility, I can't even remember which it was)?

A drunken man can still fight! You're not drunk, I mentioned up earlier in this thread that Xbox360 controllers work just fine on the PC. Plug in the USB cable, wait for drivers to download (you may have to help them along in the Windows Device Manager by clicking the "Find Drivers" button) and off you go. As I work at a computer all day sometimes I get mild carpal-tunnel like symptoms during long PC gaming sessions at home, so I've adapted my Xbox360 controllers to work with MMORPGs by using the free version of Xpadder to emulate a keyboard and mouse. It works great but games like Borderlands support the Xbox360 gamepad natively so there's no need to use Xpadder there. Edit: As for the "twice the price" thing, Microsoft does sell a wired Xbox360 controller "for Windows" that includes a driver disc to make installation foolproof, but the actual controller is identical. It's not double the price but it is $10 extra which is a bit steep for a drivers disc you can download for free directly from Microsoft. Also, for wireless Xbox360 controllers to work they need a special USB wireless receiver that costs $30.

I picked up the wireless controller and it works great. Although I can't get Xpadder to install with Windows 7. Has anyone had success with this?

I have, you need to run XPadder in "Windows XP Mode" to make it work in Windows 7. The way to do that is right click on the xpadder.exe file, go to "Properties" then the "Compatibility" tab and select Windows XP, then start the program.
