I am up for it!!!
Tonight is iffy, as I work late and then we have to carve pumpkins and all that jazz.
Tomorrow probably isn't good for most everybody.
How about Thursday?
Also, I got Northern Strike yesterday. Is there a way to make sure it is associated properly with my game? I know I could find out the names of the new maps and try to load them, just wondering if there was any other way.

Best way would be to just try and join an NS game from the server list. I don't remember the icon for it, but look for map "Port Bavaria", "Liberation of Leipzig" or "Bridge at Remagen", or game type Assault Lines
Edit: Oops, forgot the time... Yes, Thursday should work for me. I probably won't be able to realistically get online until 9:30pm EST though.

Thanks, I will check that out tonight to see if it's activated.
9:30 works for me on Thursday, I could still get in about 1.5 hours of play time.
I am so close to getting the rocket launcher thing, hopefully I can get enough exp points that night.

the AR rockets in the Assault kit?
I LOVE them. I usually take them & a Defib when I play Assault. Rockets are flippin sweet for ruining a sniper's day, if you find his nest before he spots you.

Yep, I have only played Assault. I dig that class. Nice to have a medic class that can also hold their own in battle.

I think we should set a Clan tag before we start Thursday. Maybe <CoT> ?
Also, I want to see if the awesome guys over at SGC have their server up. Supposedly the address is: 66.199.249.178 : 16567
..but I haven't verified it.

Sounds good. I saw where when you log in you could set one. Is that all you have to do? I would love if we can get enough people for a squad.
Anyone else want to do this?
We might have to avoid the Northern Strike maps, until I get them to properly links it.

We can avoid the NS servers. I posted here to see if the guys I previously mentioned still had their public server alive. Also, yeah I think you just put whatever you want in the clan tag field when you choose your soldier, and its appended to the front of your name

Okay I got confirmation. The server is still called SG-5 NOW RECRUITING, so look in the list for that one, or enter the IP I listed.
edit: Also, if we do end up playing on this server, they do have some rules which they normally enforce (yeah, I got yelled at a couple times):
LANGUAGE AND CONDUCT.
You may NOT use foul lang. or be abusive to any players at any time for any reason, this includes taunting and name calling such as noob, dummy ect.
CONQUEST MODE:
1.UNCAP-BASES
Do NOT orbital strike, emp strike or attack the uncap-bases at any time. unless using hand placed explosives to destroy commander assets.
2. COMMANDER You may NOT command and fly at any time.
You may fight only as a last resort and as long as you are sufficiently doing your commander duties, area scans, supplies, spotting enemy, ect. to support your team.
3.TEAMKILLING
You may NOT purposely teamkill at any time for any reason.
You may NOT punish for accidental teamkills or teamkills that are your fault. (running in front of tanks, jeeps, etc.).
4. INTENTIONAL RAMMING Intentional ramming will not be tolerated for any reason, at any time in either mode.
5. You may NOT "bunny hop" or "dolphin dive" at any time
TITAN MODE:
1. COMMANDER
You may NOT command and fly at any time.
You may NOT move the titan around the map. (doing this causes alot of lag, until this is fixed by ea we must enforce this rule).
You may fight only as a last resort and as long as you are sufficiently doing you commander duties, area scans, supplies, spotting enemy, ect. to support your team.
2. TEAMKILLING
You may NOT purposly teamkill at any time for any reason.
You may NOT punish for accidental teamkills or teamkills that are your fault.(running in front of tanks, jeeps, ect.).
3.Teabagging will not be tolerated at anytime for any reason, this shows poor sportsmanship and is very disrespectful.
VIOLATING ANY OF THESE RULES WILL RESULT IN BEING KICKED AND/OR BANNED FROM OUR SERVER

Do they mean ramming as in hitting an enemy player with a vehicle?
Got my Northern Strike working last night. After the ya-hoos at EA were no help, I found someone on a board who said to reinstall the patch. That made it work.
Nice games last night Aruth, you rack up some good points. As you can see, I suck. I was able to unlock the rockets though. So, I have to set the distance I want them to explode before I fire?

Last night was the first online game I have played in a while. My hands were shaking the first 5 mins! It's hard to get on the same team with your friends, sometimes Roadkill is fine (and fun!), just no ramming one vehicle into another. The rockets take some practice to get used to. I would do some practicing in Single Player mode. When you right-click to zoom in, their detonation range is set. They won't blow up if they hit anything otherwise. Once you zoom in, you can roll the scroll wheel up or down to fine tune the range. So lets say you were trying to take out a sniper behind a wall. Zoom in on the wall right in front of the sniper. That fixes the range at the wall, then roll the mouse wheel up one or two clicks...that pushes the range out further, about a yard or two. Now you aim just over the wall and fire. The rockets will explode in the air about one or two yards past the wall, hopefully giving the sniper a warm and loving shrapnel bath.

You better fire all 3 (or 4 if you get the NS unlock) rockets though, because if you don't kill him, he has a nice smoke trail to lead him to your head.
