base price for a 16 man server was like 36 bucks a month....and it adds up QUICK with the more features you add.
Not all of us have big mansions...

Dead servers is a good way to go, but if we get into it and get a bunch of regular folks, our own server might work better (always have open slots for us, kick the jerks, etc.).
I saw some hosts that had 24 person servers for about $35/month. I bet we could create a pay pal account that everyone could donate to, then we pay from it. even spread over a few of us, that is cheaper than a mmo subscription. Pay pal even has ways to do monthly subscriptions. Just a thought.
