But it's not just one group. the first group is filled up. The OP even said that we'd create another group if there was interest. Are you suggesting that the members become more interchangeable between the groups?
I just like that things are being planned.

But it's not just one group. the first group is filled up. So... it really is just the one group, especially if you rigidly stick to the "these people are grouped" format in the original post. Looking back, and assuming Cav caves, then there are two people (three if you count me which I'm not since my schedule can't be guaranteed) who are interested but are basically out of luck since they aren't in that first group. Again, I realize this is only a couple of nights a week, but to use an extreme example, so is raiding in WoW and one of the phenomenons of raiding is how quickly people feel left out if they consistently can't play with "the group." That's exactly what I'm suggesting. Allowing people to rotate in includes more people, isn't restricted to multiples of 6, and ensures that people play with different people in the guild. It doesn't need to be logistically more difficult, either. If you want, you just post "alt night 9 PM tuesday, level 14 in Verteron" and then everyone who wants to come shows up at 9 on their level 14s and the first 6 who can make a group do. Or, if you want to make sure you get a good group of 6, post signups just prior but allow anyone to sign up as long as they have a character that is the same levelish that the group is. I do, too. I'd rather see things planned inclusively rather than exclusively, like I said earlier. All that being said, I'm sorry if I came off completely negatively. I appreciate the effort that is being made in any planning and I like to see things that will make the guild more active.

This has gone way beyond original intent. we started as a couple people talking about getting together on alts sometimes. i got a joking message about people not being invited to it, so i posted it up so I wouldn't be exclusive and this is the discussion that follows.
what you're proposing is what I thought people were already doing on the Wednesday night guild groups, but that quickly leveled beyond me so I'm not sure if people kept up with organizing that or not. As I've been unable to participate, I can only hope that people followed through with those plans that were made.
i think this discussion discourages people from planning small events. we've never had criteria for what events were allowed and which weren't. we've always told people they can plan and run any event they want to.

Actually, I would like to be in a second group if there is enough interest. I did this with my old guild in WoW. We actually had 4-5 groups of guildies all running around in the same area on the same nights. It was super fun. Plus, I think I'm a closet Japanese citizen because I love to grind more than I like to quest. I just do the quests because I'm compulsive. So this would be perfect.

Not to come off as offensive, but here is my 2c. Making this a little bit too much of a polarizing issue, imo, Lyr. As with any guild invite, anyone is welcome to come, further, we have more than 10 members in guild, we could fill 6 FGs any given week to just "chill" with each other. Also, I'm 90% sure I'm gonna be leaving for Basic pretty much immediately following Thanksgiving(8 weeks) where I won't be able to play, obviously. We've always be extremely flexible, to jump to the conclusion that this is exclusive is a bit hasty. Just my 2c, but I understand where he was coming from and understand if people might have gotten that idea

I've edited my post from earlier stating I have a Templar if a tank is needed but I forgot that I've also got a Gladiator. So, I can fill whichever spot is needed.

I hope you folks contiune to set this up, its such a great idea. Aion is such a group orientated game. I think a well thoughtout blanced group would go very far and find much sucess in PvE and even more during PvP. Just my 2c ;D
