Lots for me to catch up on!
Servers:
When CoT decided to try out CoH waiting for the release of WoW, we picked Virtue because it was the unofficial RP server. CoT were guests of a guild that we were in alliance with in DAoC. CoH was not really to the liking of most of CoT, so most left. I did too. When I decided to come back, it was kinda empty so I decided to restart and I picked Champion for reasons I cannot recall. I got in with a well-respected group, the Pillars of Might, and I'm enjoying my time there, though I do notice that sometimes the server feels really empty. My highest hero is still on Virtue, and that's only lvl 30-33 ish.
On Champion, I have;
- Pinpoint, Natural origin Defender, lvl 26?, Trick Arrow/Archery
- Hephaecules, Magic origin Tank, lvl 20, War Mace/Fire
- Cast-Iron, Magic origin Scrapper, lvl 16, Martial Arts/Invulnerability
- Centigrade, Mutant origin Blaster, lvl 10 Fire Blast/Ice Control
- Albion, Natural origin Scrapper, lvl 10 Broadsword/Willpower
- Ironhawk, Technological origin Blaster, lvl 4, Energy Blast/Energy Manipulation
- Mindblock, Mutant originDefender, lvl 4, Force Fields/Psychic Blast
- Circuit-Board, Technological origin Mastermind, lvl 24?, Robotics/Traps
- Head-Case, Mutant origin Dominator, lvl 20?, Mind Control/Mental Manipulation.
- Virgil Asher, Magic origin Brute, lvl 9, Super Strength/Fire Aura
On Virtue, I have;
- Psi Shield, Science origin Defender, lvl 30? Force Fields/Psychic Blast
- Witch-Fire, Magic origin Dominator, lvl 5? Fire/Fire
- More that I don't remember anymore because I barely log in there.
Archetypes:
Masterminds are in a class all their own, and do not correspond with CoH ATs. You wouldn't want to team with too many MMs unless you had a good system.
Brutes are like Scrappers and Tanks rolled into one. The have a rage bar. The more their rage bar fills up, the more damage they do. They do good damage, have defensive powersets and decent HP.
Dominators are like Controller/Blasters. Mostly control, with some range and some melee capability. They also build up their power to and can release it from time to time. When they do, the holds last longer and the damage is increased.
Stalkers are like weak scrappers. Melee centric, with low HPs. They pretty much put in for the PVP crowd. It's basically a stealther/assassin. If one gets the drop on you in PVP, they can one shot some targets (controllers, blasters).
Corruptors are like Blaster/Defenders. Ranged/Buff (or debuff). They can cause extra damage to a target that is already weakened.
Playing
If you guys want to come to Champion, or me come to Virtue, let me know. I have no problems making up new alts (actually it's a bit of a problem for me, and why after 4 years, I have no endgame level toons!). With the exemplar/sidekick system, I'm sure we can get together.
If you are serious about coming back for awhile, I may be able to get you into my guilds (SGs), chat channel so there will folks to chat and play with too.
