With regards to the Nostromo: Is it not compatible with Synapse 2.0? I read conflicting reports around the general internet.

I prefer to remove the top hat on my Nostromo. Since the top hat was not concave it felt weird, so I took it off. I like the feel of the D-pad so I can assign specific key binds. I only use the 4 way setup. I do this so I don't accidentally activate a skill/action.

On my way back tomorrow, finally have internet.
I've had a Nostromo and a G13, currently still using the G13. The Nostromo stopped responding as well, and the G13 is more comfortable in addition to having more usable keys. I'd go with the Logitech hands down.
I found it's one of those things with a learning curve... but now that I've learned it, I can't go back to WASD for MMOs.

I'll counter with the Nostromo > G13 for ergonomics and not-clunky-looks.

Yea, the way my desk/chair setup is, it looks like the Nostromo would fit the angle my arm rests at better than the G13.
